Sidewinders Herpetology and Aquatic Science club is a 4-H club for youth in grades 4 through 13. We meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Our goal is to educate members about the proper care and husbandry of reptiles, amphibians, fish, and aquatic animals. Each meeting includes a species showcase, where members can display their pets, discuss their handling techniques, and even demonstrate animal behaviors when the weather permits. The club’s activities culminate in the 4-H fair, where members can showcase their animals and engage the public in learning about herpetology and aquatic science.
