4‑H Area14 Robotics Club
This club emphasizes problem-solving, computational thinking, the use of coding, cognitive and AI skills to advance STEM learning. It offers three learning tracks (LEGO® Mindstorms, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi) through guided projects and real-life robotics missions.
Some club members participate in robotics competitions such as First LEGO® League and RoboCup Junior.

4‑H Beacon Bots
Beacon Bots is a club devoted to learning about robotics and computer programming. Many platforms will be involved, such as use of the Arduino and Mindstorms ev3. Club activities culminate in the construction of different projects and potential participation in different competitions such as FIRST LEGO League Competition.
4‑H Beekeeping Club
Members learn all about bee keeping, the importance of key pollinators, honey and bee behavior.
4‑H Computers
From microcontrollers to gaming PCs and from Scratch to full-stack web apps, 4‑H Computers is a club for students who have a passion for electronics and software. We work together to help each other complete projects and build friendships along the way. Our club's work culminates in the 4‑H Fair in August, where we get to show off all of our projects to the public. We are also responsible for developing and maintaining the 4‑H Fair App, a project started several years ago that our club adopted in 2020. While anyone is welcome to join our club, our club is not a class, and we are more geared towards self-driven individuals who already have an interest in electronics and software.
4‑H Drawing & Sketch Club
Members of this club will be able to use traditional mediums to create anything from comic book characters to still life drawings. We will learn how to use color, light, perspective, proportion, and much more using pencil, ink and markers to create standout pieces.
4‑H Garden & Bee Club
Members learn about organic flower and vegetable gardening by planting and maintaining the 4-H garden. Members who elect the optional beekeeping project will learn about bee keeping by assisting in the 4-H apiary, as well as the importance of pollinators, honey and other products from the hive.
4‑H Go-Kart Club
Members learn about the mechanics, driving skills and safety of go-karts, with an emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork.
4‑H Magicians Guild
The 4-H Magic project uses hands-on learning opportunities for member to acquire life skills while exploring the art of magic and illusion. With an emphasis on fun and cooperative creativity members enhance public speaking and presentation skills while building self confidence and learning a new skill set.

Cooking, science, crafts…this club is all over the place! A great way to explore different interests.

Alpaca Club
Members of the Alpaca Division learn the importance of modern alpaca care and handling, as well as about alpaca training and fiber.
Anime & Manga Club
Members use the art forms of anime & manga to learn about Japanese culture, fashion, food & lifestyle. They also explore other related pop cultures such as video games & cosplay at their annual fundraising convention, CloverCon.
Branchburg Beef, Dairy and Livestock
Members learn about the care and management of raising livestock, including feeding, breeding and proper handling in and out of the show ring.
Broken Props Model Airplane
Members get hands-on experience learning about flight theory, types and construction of model plane, as well as, learn to fly through free flight, control lines or radio control models.
Chaps & Spurs
Members learn about the responsibility of equine ownership. Youth in this club learn about breeds, coat colors, anatomy, physiology, feeding and proper care and management of horses, equipment and styles of riding etc. Members learn to work safely with large animals. This club also accepts PREP/Cloverbud..
Chinese Culture Club
Club members are students who are enrolled in Raritan Valley Chinese School (RVCS) where they study Chinese language (Mandarin), culture and arts. RVCS students and families share their appreciation and knowledge of Chinese culture with the public through participating in community events and events with other local Chinese schools. Cloud Computing Club
This club will explain the details of what cloud computing is and give you the confidence to design and host an end to end web-site in the cloud. Basic HTML, JavaScript, and Python will be taught in this club. You will also experience the tools used to host web-sites in the cloud, such as Amazon S3 Buckets, and Lamb-da. All that is needed is laptop and a great attitude!

A group led club creating family inspired crafts with some emphasis on seasons and holidays. All modalities will be explored to create fun and unique crafts. Bring your creativity and inspirations.

Crazy Frog Hoppers
Members learn to Double Dutch jump rope and gain confidence by learning to do tricks and routines. Emphasis is on having fun while developing teamwork.
Da Bug Club
While exploring the outdoors and getting hands-on with creepy crawlers, members in the entomology project area learn about the lifestyles, habitats, diets and behavior of the most diverse group of animals on the planet – insects!

It’s never too soon to learn about money! Join this club to learn about all things finance and how to apply it in everyday life.
Furry Friends
Learn all about small animals, such as rabbits, cavies, and rodents. By learning the proper care and handling of small animals, members strengthen their sense of responsibility as pet owners. There is an emphasis on proper animal handling, showmanship, preparing for a small animal show, public speaking and public education. Members also learn about animal safety. There is typically one (1) Somerset County Small Animal Division show, as well as a Furry Friends club show to best prepare 4-H Furry Friends members for the annual Fair.
Game On! Club
Do you like to play Roblox, Among Us, Minecraft, Smash Bros, and other Nintendo games? Or do you like to play Chess, Battleship, Catan and other board games? Come join us! Members will learn new games, teamwork, explore their creativities & skills, socialize with other members, and have friendly game time.
Gingersnaps
Through hands-on activities, members gain experience preparing food. In addition, members are able to express their own uniqueness through creative craft projects.
Hawkeye Archers
At Hawkeye Archers, we focus on archery equipment and training. The goal of our program is to create a strong archery foundation which will be tracked and monitored by score production. As a young developing archer, you will learn the tools to be successful along with tracking and monitoring your performance by score progress. Members will learn core foundations and have the opportunity to grow and succeed at the county, state and hopefully one day the nation 4-H level. Archers will also learn team work, community service, public speaking as well as important social skills. We look forward to growing the sport of archery together.
Hip-Hop Hoppers
Do you like to jam to your favorite songs on the radio?
Learn how to stomp to the beat, clap to the rhythm, and flow with the music all while having fun.
Members will also have the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience.

Hippity Hoppity Happy Handlers

K-9 Leaders Seeing Eye Puppy Club
Our club raises puppies for The Seeing Eye. We have both youth and adult members. As the foster family we have the puppies from 7 weeks to about 15 months of age. During this time members are responsible for the puppy’s complete care including housebreaking, crate training, house manners, simple commands and socialization. Someone must be able to be home during the day to care for the puppy. Puppy raisers attend meetings twice a month and go on outings with the club, as well as working with their puppy every day on training and socialization.

Little Woofers
Members are given the opportunity to learn about dog handling and dog care (obedience, jr. showmanship and grooming) and to participate in a dog show without the pressures of competition. Members participate purely for the joy of doing so.
Mad Scientists Club

Learn about the world around us through interactive science activities. Each member, with the help of their parent/guardian, will plan and lead a meeting.
Monster Mechanics

New Centre Dairy
Members learn proper care and handling of dairy cattle. The club also focuses on educating our members and the public about the dairy industry, as well as the importance of dairy products in a healthy diet.
New Centre Dairy Prep
Got Milk? Members will learn all about the dairy and agricultural industries as well as work with calves at the farm. Members will be leased an animal through our Loan-A-Calf program and learn how to work with the animal in the show ring.
On Target Archery Club
The goals of the archery club are to encourage safe, educational and socially acceptable involvement in a shooting activity, to teach the safe and responsible use of shooting equipment at home and on the shooting range, including sound decision making, self-discipline and concentration and to promote the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship and ethical behavior.
Outdoor Club
Get ready to explore our natural world together. Build connection and community through outdoor activities and experiences.
Members will explore local parks and landscapes together by hiking, apple picking or beach trips.
People Pick Me-Ups
Throughout the year, members learn the importance of community service by using animals as a way to encourage the elderly, mentally challenged and those with emotional problems to open up and share through pet therapy.
Photo Bombers
Photobombers is a social, welcoming 4-H club that focuses on experimenting, improving photography techniques and having fun. Our meetings are a mix of field trips, friendly critiques and presentations from professionals. We are open to all skills levels, no experience or camera necessary, although ANY device that has a camera is always welcome! Members develop photography skills throughout the year and proudly display their work at the 4-H Fair and/or Open Division.
Pins & Needles
Members of the sewing club develop sewing skills of increasing difficulty, learn about textiles and their various properties, develop creatively and design skills.
Pokémon Club
Calling all Pokémon trainers! Come join us as we build a world of play for Pokémon fans throughout our community.
At the Somerset County 4-H Pokémon Club, members will have a chance to meet up with other Pokémon fans to trade cards and learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Learn how to level up your decks, improve your strategy, and make friends doing it! Hope to see you there!

Radio Control Car Club

Come join the R/C Car Club and where a love of vehicles, speed, and racing all combine!
Not only will you get to enjoy the fun of racing, but you'll also learn about the mechanics, driving, and types of remote control cars. We emphasize friendship, teamwork, and safety while fostering an environment of fun competition. Make new friends, learn about R/C Cars and join the fun!
Role 4 Initiative (Dungeons and Dragons)
Members will use leadership skills, strategic thinking, problem solving and teamwork as they join fellow adventurers on fantasy campaigns through the classic role-playing game of "Dungeons and Dragons". Open to all skill levels, no experience necessary. As members gain experience they will be given the opportunity to mentor newer players, and, if interested, they can strive to stretch their creativity and imagination by facilitating games as "Dungeon Master."
Senior Council
Teen club that focuses on leadership and community service. Teens vote on the projects to participate in throughout the year.
Servos 4‑H Robotics Club

Sew It Seams
Members of the sewing club develop sewing skills of increasing difficulty, learn about textiles and their various properties, develop creatively and design skills.
Sheepfold
The objective of the sheep project is to learn about the year-round care of sheep, with an emphasis on management, proper handling, responsibility and sportsmanship. Members also learn about wool quality and market lamb production through hands-on activities.
Sidewinders Club
By emphasizing proper care and maintenance, members learn about domestic and exotic amphibians and reptiles and their environments.
Somerset 4‑H Trainmasters
By working with Hi-Rail model railroads, members learn the skills and joy of basic carpentry, safe low-voltage wiring, cooperation and teamwork and creativity. The project emphasizes the historical and geographical impact of trains.
Somerset County 4‑H Exchange Association
Members learn to share ideas and thoughts with other 4-H youth around the country. Through fundraising, members are able to visit other states to learn about life around the country.
That’S Sew Crafty
Members learn many aspects of crafting: clay, crocheting, painting, sewing, etc. All will have an educational component to go along with the project.
The Clover Ensemble
Members actively learn about all aspects of theatre within a creative ensemble: acting, directing, writing, costuming, production, choreography, PR and stage tech.
The Prep Ensemble
Come and pretend with The Prep Ensemble! Every week we meet, we do a craft, read a story, act it out, and then play a game. In the summer, members will have the opportunity to act with our sister club, The Clover Ensemble
Twirling Clovers
